Liam originally wanted Experience to be a
concept album á la Pink Floyd that would represent the
rave scene at that time. He evenetually found that idea
to limiting. The album is a pure breakbeat fest with few
tracks under 140 bpm. In retrospect one of the slower
tracks are considered the most important track on the
album, namely ' Weather Experience'. That track showed
that Liam could write music reaching outside the specific
breakbeat style the rest of the album represented. The album entered the UK charts at 12 and stayed in the charts for 25 weeks. |
