The Swedish straight-edge hard-core punk band Refused released a very guitarish cover version of Voodoo People on their '96 'Rather be Dead EP'.
The track has re-surfaced on a compilation LP that features this EP together with a couple of other of their singles.

"Jag äter inte mina vänner" is swedish for "I don't eat my friends" which has to do with the band's beliefs that animals are not ours to eat, wear etc...
